Enneagram test
Type 2 · The Helper
Care, connection and being needed
Type 2 describes a pattern of building connection through support and attention to other people. Helping can be deeply satisfying, but the wish to be needed can sometimes make your own needs harder to express. Recognizing this pattern does not mean that every act of care has a hidden motive.
Possible strengths
You may notice when someone needs encouragement and take practical steps to support them.
Possible challenges
Offering more than you can sustain can lead to disappointment when others do not notice what you need.
A question for reflection
What could you ask for directly instead of hoping someone will notice?
